what happened last night

One of our old PCs got broken and the motherboard needs to be replaced with a new one. Being interested in PCs, I decided to fix it myself so that there will be no money to be spent on labor and so that I can learn how to fix it for I was planning to build a PC of my own.

With the new the parts ready, I began fixing it last night. Everything was doing well...but then when I start to boot it up...nothing displays on the monitor! It even shut down after how many seconds! Being paranoid and all, I've came up with theories why it went that way. I may had incorrectly connected something or maybe the motherboard is broken (I went crazy with the thought of it because the motherboard is brand new!) or maybe it's in the processor...I even thought of the silliest theories to support what happened-- I forgot to wash my face that's why it didn't work...

My brother came to rescue. He checked the PC and made his theories also. I was so nervous that time because I thought I broke the motherboard which is just new and I can't afford to replace it with a new one. He told me that maybe I forgot to connect something on the motherboard but I thought that connection would be irrelevant. Hours passed and we still can't figure out what's wrong...We tried many attempts but it is still unsuccessful. We gave up and my brother told me that he will ask a PC shop nearby.

All throughout today, I feel so nervous on what will be the outcome of the problem. My brother called me up with an exciting news. The motherboard is perfectly fine. I just forgot to connect something. The theory of my brother was correct. I was relieved with that and finally I can finish what I have started. I can't wait to finish it up tonight!

If there is something that should be learned from this...then so be it...haha...I don't care... I just would like to share my thoughts to you...

about me today

I'm done with my work! whew! Good for me I finished early.

To summarize what I did the whole day today at the office, I processed 81 claims (which is so many compared to our normal load), Ate lunch with my Sarah (I had Mcdo and sarah brought her lunch), and helping my friends fix their blogs. They want to customize their blogs by putting some stuff on it.

As I said before, I like customizing pages that's why I was willing to help them. My friend Al wanted to have a digital clock on his page and Sarah wanted an analog clock and a counter for her page. I was successful in putting clocks on their blogs..Want to see them? click here for Al's Blog and Sarah's Blog. The only problem that I have is putting a counter. I can't find a nice and free counter that I can use. Any idea where I can find one?

I like designing web pages. I'm not yet a professional web designer but hopefully I can be one in the future. I feel a sense of accomplishment when I make a good site. I only created few and they are not that still good enough to be considered as professional-looking. I learn designing web pages thru self-learning. I look for resources on the net, study them and experiment with it. outcome of boredom

It's 6:49 in the morning. I'm still not in the mood to work so I decided to post here first.

I'm so bored right now. I know that there are a lot of things to do today yet I'm so lazy to start a single thing that is related to office.

...I can't think of something right now...hmmm... Oh well, I guess there's no other thing to do but to start working...time to get things started...

It was yesterday when we celebrated the 23rd birthday of my Sarah...Yep..it's 23.. don't be fooled by the picture. We're just having fun messing the cake up and interchanged the birthday candles. It was a very simple celebration. In the office, She gave us Yellow Cab Pizza and Ice Cream for lunch. And later that night, Al, Cy, Marvin and Me went to her place to have dinner with her. We had pancit and BBQ. After that, She blew her birthday cake as you can see in the picture. We stayed there for hours laughing, taking pictures while finishing the cake which I bought for her.

I hope she enjoyed her birthday. My only wish is for her to be happy in her life and may she have the strength to overcome her struggles that she encounters.

I miss my hometown friends. We usually go out to alot of different places. We watch movies together, go barhopping, and having road trips. But with our work right now, we seldom see each other now... Deng, Abi, Ron, Mon and Tin wherever you are.. I hope we can get together again just like the old times..

..blog mania...

I can't help it. Everyone is doing it so why can't I? I'm talking about blogging. I've heard of it a long time ago but I never really appreciated it until now. I was never really into writing...I'm having a hard time thinking what words would I write and my grammar is so bad (this entry would be a perfect example of what I'm talking about) that's why I don't appreciate making any journals or stuff like that...

But I like reading blogs. It's funny to see the blogs of people who use it to escape from reality or to use it as a way reduce their stress or to release their extreme emotions.

Right now I'm at the office and most of the people here are into blogging and they encourage me to have one also and with that here it is...my very own blog...and you know what, I actually starting to like it. Why? not only I can write blogs but also I can upload some photos and my favorite, I can customize my page in any style I want using HTML!!!

So in the coming days expect to see my wakko thoughts and experience the ultimate ride of my imagination... As for me, I'll start reviewing my grammar notes again...
